What a week we just saw in the NFL football fans. The games were as juicy as ever, and the talking points off the field have kept us busy discussing what it means for the next clashes to come. As we approach Game Week 10, we take a closer look at the most insightful stories and results from the past week.

The Headlines

We don’t always have as much action as we saw around the country last weekend. It’s not every week we get to talk about a rogue cat taking the limelight from NFL’s finest. Of course, we won’t be focused on felines only, so let’s get right to it.

Cat Takes the Limelight

The action on the field was halted when a cat invaded the pitch as the Giants faced the Cowboys. It took a few minutes to get him off the turf, but when the game resumed, Dallas put in one of their best performances of the season so far.

The final result of 18-37 does not flatter the Cowboys, and they deserved the win. Next up, they will face the Vikings in a battle we expect them to win.

Rivers Hurting

The Charger’s main man Philip Rivers has expressed his regret at not being able to sign off from the Coliseum with a victory. He spoke of his pride in playing in one of the last old-style NFL stadiums and had a shocker of a game. The Raiders will be happy to move on from their famous ground with a win under their belt, though, and we are backing them to win their next home game.

Sherman Seeking Payback

Sherman is now with the 49ers, and the man will be looking forward to meeting the Seahawks again, two seasons after his departure. The rumor mill is saying he will want to pile some misery on his old side and extend the 49ers unbeaten run at the same time.

We aren’t sure that will be enough this weekend, and it is a testing one to call. We are going with an upset and a victory for Seattle.

Williams Ready for Darnold

Leonard Williams is looking to get one over on his former teammate Darnold when the Giants face the Jets this weekend. The Giants man commented that he was relishing the opportunity to sack his former QB in their upcoming game. A little bit of extra spice in a matchup is always a good thing, in our opinion, and we think the Giants will win this one. Our money is already lined up and ready for a Giants win by plus 10 points.

Fort Signs Extention

LJ Fort has got himself a two-year deal after the journeyman put in some outstanding performances over the last four games. The Eagles deemed him at too low a quality for their roster, but he is shaping up to be precisely what the Ravens needed to give them strength in depth.

His experience in the NFL could pay dividends for the team as a whole come to the end of the season. Next up for the Ravens is the Bengals, which is pretty much nailed on to be a win even with a handicap bet.

Tretter Commits to Browns

The Browns can celebrate this week after a critical cog in their offense signed another deal to keep him in Cleveland for three more years. Tretter has become an integral part of the puzzle for the Browns, and the added stability of a new contract always gives teams a

well-needed boost. The Bills are up next for the Browns, and the likely outcome is a win for the Cleveland boys.

That’s the News

Another week has passed in the NFL, and it keeps getting better. Everyone is starting to see what might happen as we come to the end of the season. The best thing about that is we have so much Football left to immerse ourselves in until then.
