I'm going to do it until the wheels fall off."

Kelce's current focus is on remaining at the top of his game and helping the Chiefs make deep playoff runs. There is still significant history to be made. With 11,328 receiving yards in his career, he is just 514 yards away from surpassing Antonio Gates for third all-time among tight ends. Moreover, he is 3,800 receiving yards away from eclipsing Tony Gonzalez's record for most receiving yards by a tight end in NFL history. Continuing to play at his customary level for another four years would likely propel Kelce past Gonzalez in the record books.
"Hopefully that doesn't happen anytime soon, but I can definitely understand that it's towards the end of the road than it is the beginning of it," Kelce acknowledged, reflecting on his career's trajectory. "I just have to make sure I'm set up for after football as well."
The Andy Reid Way
Kelce remains focused on the present and is committed to giving his all for the Chiefs under the leadership of head coach Andy Reid. "You have a certain focus to each day set yourself up to get better and better," he explained. "Seeing where the team is now, you have to find a way to play your best from this point on all the way till hopefully January and February. The road has started, and I'm excited for it but I only know one way and that's the only way and that's the Andy Reid way."
